Akufo-Addo shares heartwarming tribute
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Akufo-Addo opened up about his personal relationship with Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
He confirmed the reports about him being the late religious leader’s personal lawyer decades ago, before he became president.
According to Akufo-Addo, he had a fruitful relationship with Kantanka as his lawyer. He noted that their relationship extended to the latter’s daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, the former MP for Dome Kwabenya constituency.
Akufo-Addo established that the late Kantanka introduced Adwoa Safo to him as an undergraduate who wanted to become a lawyer.
The Dome Kwabenya MP eventually became Akufo-Addo’s mentee in the field of law and politics.
During his presidency, Akufo-Addo aimed to support Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s efforts at Kantanka Automobile.
As reported by Graphic Online, the former president was invited to the 36th annual Christ Reformed Church (Kristo Asafo) Technology Exhibition in 2017, where he promised to amplify the late Kwadwo Safo’s efforts.
“Ghanaian scientists and inventors such as Apostle Safo are the kind of people my government will work with closely to speed up the industrialisation process. My government will protect, encourage and collaborate with Apostle Safo to take the nation higher in the area of science and technology,” Nana Akufo-Addo said.

And according to his daughter Adwoa Sarfo, it was under Nana Addo’s government that his father’s transport yard was demolished. We love the dead more than the living

“After demolishing his transport business, he is there to mourn with them? Wicked man.”
