Stacey Slater, played by Lacey Turner in EastEnders, is left reeling from the death of Martin Fowler, so it’s no shock that viewers will see her considering a fresh start overseas in next week’s episodes.
The soap icon once took a hiatus from Walford, returning to the Square after several weeks only to find she no longer felt it was a secure place for her and her children. Next week, her brother Sean steps in with an offer.
Over in Emmerdale, April and Dylan are doing their best to stay on Ray’s good side, while Dr Liam has an awkward encounter with Manpreet at the GP surgery as the ITV soap introduces a new health storyline for his character.
In Coronation Street, Lisa was stunned to come face to face with her wife Becky, who was previously thought to be dead. However, next week, Lisa’s fiancée Carla tries to keep her cool while Ryan questions Becky’s motives. Caleb is running a covert errand but gets a fright when Ruby catches him sneaking out. Ruby interrogates him – will he spill the beans? Dylan checks in with April following her conversation with Ray, but she’s not convinced he has their best interests at heart.
April says sorry to Ray and mentions Dylan secured the job at the depot, which pleases Ray. At the depot, Dylan makes the most of his new role, but a fresh text message reminds him there’s no escaping Ray.
April is shocked to discover the extent of her and Dylan’s debt – but Ray suggests there are ways to pay it off. Meanwhile, Laurel finds herself attracted to Ray.
At the surgery, Claudette encourages Liam to postpone other commitments to attend his prostate appointment, but he convinces her to cancel it instead.
Liam dismisses the issue but things take a turn for the worse when Manpreet catches a desperate Dr Liam relieving himself in his own consulting room sink.
Elsewhere, Charity is consumed by guilt over potentially being pregnant with Ross’ baby. She decides to get a paternity test – but Chas becomes suspicious when she sees her conspiring with Ross later on. Vinny finds himself in a predicament when he receives a letter – if he testifies against Mike, Gabby might discover his lies.
Coronation Street
As they arrive in court for the hearing, Dee-Dee advises Theo to remain calm. Danielle’s barrister questions Theo about his temper and accuses him of assaulting Miles.
Theo insists it was an accident but when Noah makes derogatory comments, Todd loses his temper and attacks Noah. Later, Danielle reveals a shocking secret.
Becky announces that she’s moving into a flat nearby. When Betsy suggests Lisa can help her move her belongings, Lisa reluctantly agrees.
Carla assures Ryan she trusts Lisa but he questions whether she can trust Becky to the same extent.
Abi interrogates Carl about Tracy and he pretends that he spun her a sob story. However, when Abi expresses gratitude to Tracy for backing down, she discovers the lengths Carl went to silence Tracy, leaving her appalled.
Dev and Bernie are worried about Asha, who spends an excessive amount of time in her room. After some coaxing from Bernie, Asha assists Ryan at the careers fair, oblivious that the guest speaker is the woman who abused her.
In other news, Jenny invites George to join her for lunch but he turns her down, claiming he has to clean the parlour. She later drops by the undertakers with her mop but departs when she finds out that George sought Christina’s help.
The Slaters are left stunned as Zoe attempts to justify herself to Kat, Alfie and Stacey. But it’s evident the family are suspicious as she continues to dodge the truth about her past.
Meanwhile, Sharon makes a return to Walford and is taken aback to see Zoe outside No. 31, later awkwardly encountering Phil in the café. Cindy stirs up tension between Lauren and Peter as she moves into No. 25.
Peter strikes up a friendship with another mum, Demi, at Jimmy’s sensory class, but her intentions are transparent. Penny then steps in, encouraging Peter to be upfront with Lauren about his new friend.
Later on, after an accident results in Mo’s dismissal, Cindy is approached by a girl named Jasmine, enquiring if there are any job openings at The Albert. Cindy turns her down – but the girl is resolute to demonstrate what she’s capable of.
At No. 31, Stacey reveals to Lily that Sean has invited them to live with him in Brazil and Lily encourages her to go for it.
Stacey is over the moon when she tells Lily she’s booked their flights to Brazil but Jean interrupts their joyous moment, trying to hide her disappointment.
When Jack shows up, Lily is left with no choice but to let the cat out of the bag. Meanwhile, Howie frets about money as Kim accidentally wrecks her camera gear, and lands a new gig delivering parcels.
Mercedes finally spills the beans to her mum – she’s expecting Tony’s baby. At the same time, Diane and Tony decide to give their relationship another shot.
Cleo takes Sienna’s clothes to Dodger and he’s shocked to find them in the washing machine. With the evidence gone, Jez points the finger at Martha but Dodger later uncovers something.
As Ste’s health worsens due to a lack of medication, Jez continues to torment Sienna. Peri seeks advice from Marie about Tom, but Marie delivers some shocking news. Elsewhere, John Paul heads to the police station with a shocking allegation.
Andrew arranges a secret rendezvous with Holly as they begin plotting their future. But she has another surprise in store. Colton meets a dashing stranger at the Back Lane Bar and they get along like a house on fire.
However, the newcomer later makes it clear there’s nothing between them, leaving Colton emotionally stunned. Elle is on a journalistic tear as she gears up to publish another article, but Cara confronts her – she’s interfering with an ongoing police investigation. Terese is under pressure to keep Elle in check.
Home and Away
Roo attempts to connect with Cohen to understand what went wrong between him and his father, but Alf reminds her she can’t keep Adrian at bay. Irene receives a call from her estate agent – someone’s made an offer on the house.
Later, Irene drops a bombshell announcement. David and Jo toast to their new home purchase, but David reveals he’s planning to ask Lacey to move in with them, leading Sonny to make a misguided blunder. Meanwhile, Mackenzie and Levi steel themselves for a difficult conversation.
