N.Y. Lottery: New Yorker wins $1 million scratch-off prize

A Long Island resident has scored big with the New York Lottery’s $1,000,000 Cashword Bonus scratch-off game, the New York Lottery announced.
Bhav Patel of Williston Park claimed the top prize and chose to receive a one-time lump sum payment of $442,683 after required withholdings, lottery officials announced.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mis Amigos, located at 93-13 37th Ave. in Jackson Heights.
All top prizes on the $1,000,000 Cashword Bonus ticket (#1633) have now been claimed.
Lower-tier prizes remain valid and may be cashed through June 12, 2026. Players can check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2024–2025 to benefit public schools across New York State. During the same period, Nassau County school districts received $250,170,564 in Lottery Aid to Education funds.
