Stacey Solomon has said “it’s ludicrous” that she is up against husband Joe Swash at tonight’s National Television Awards . The married couple’s BBC reality series Stacey & Joe is nominated in the Entertainment category. But Stacey has another chance at winning as her cleaning show Sort Your Life out is also nominated in the same category. Stacey & Joe returned this week for a second series. Magic Radio hosts Tom Price and Lucy Horobin were discussing it on their Hometime show, when Stacey called in. The 35-year-old was quizzed about going head to head with Joe, 43, and admitted things could get awkward. Stacey said: “They’ve put Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe in the same blummin’ category for some reason – we’re up against each other which is absolutely ludicrous! “But you know what I’m so grateful to just be going, it’s so nice to be shortlisted and nominated knowing that it’s a public vote. “All our family are going to be there, it’s the first time our family has got to go to anything like this so it’s going to be amazing no matter what happens!” The I’m A Celebrity legend has two shots at taking home the trophy, but Joe might still miss out. She said: “He’ll secretly be giving me daggers, but outwardly I’m sure he’ll clap [if Sort Your Life Out wins].” Stacey and Joe appear on their family show with their kids Rex, Rose and Belle, as well as Stacey’s two older sons Zachary and Leighton. The first episode of the second series saw Stacey enter the boardroom for a huge business meeting with British haircare and bodycare brand REHAB, which she is heavily involved in. In a meeting with retailer Boots, she pushed for the brand to be stocked in 200 stores, after they first suggested far less. She left the meeting celebrating with her team, and it seems that mood will be continuing at the National Television Awards. Stacey will be hosting a box for REHAB at tonight’s event, with VIP guests invited. Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox? Sign up for our free Daily Star Showbiz newsletter.
