Organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Bhubaneswar Chapter, the event took place from September 13 to 14, 2025, under the theme “Quality Concepts for a Self-Reliant Developed India.” The convention saw enthusiastic participation from various industries across Odisha.
OMC’s Quality Circle teams showcased their innovative approaches, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through case study presentations, knowledge tests, and model demonstrations. A total of 22 OMC teams participated, presenting projects spanning production, sales, environment, safety, technical expertise, quality control, and healthcare. The Gold award-winning teams will represent OMC at the upcoming National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC-2025), further highlighting their excellence on a national stage.
OMC has consistently excelled at QCFI’s national platform, with its teams earning numerous accolades at NCQC and securing Gold awards at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) in Beijing, China, in 2023. These achievements underscore OMC’s leadership in the mining sector and its dedication to quality and sustainable practices.
QCFI, a prestigious national organisation, recognises groundbreaking innovations and decisions that enhance workplace productivity and safety. The convention promotes grassroots-level innovation and sustainable practices, providing a platform for Quality Circle teams to showcase transformative initiatives. OMC’s remarkable performance at CCQC-2025 reinforces its position as a trailblazer in operational excellence and innovation.—
