Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has left fans crying for him to ‘come back’ after he made a ‘one-way ticket’ request after ditching the UK with one of his castmates. The actor, who is best known for playing namesake Ryan Connor in the ITV soap having started in the role back in 2018, has been seen in Canada after he headed to Vancouver with his co-star Mikey North, who is famed for playing Weatherfield’s Gary Windass. Some of those who follow the long-running show may not know that Corrie is popular in the North American country, and cast members sometimes host meet and greets after the Canadian fans travel to the UK in a pilgrimage to the set at MediaCityUK in Trafford. The latest to head off to the other side of the pond were Ryan and Mikey, and earlier this month, it was Ryan who took to social media to give a glimpse at the trip, which did manage to include some sightseeing for the pair. Alongside the post on Instagram, Ryan shared: “Vancouver, thank you very much for having us. We loved every minute. #vancouver.” Now, the soap star has returned to his platform with more snaps from the trip, and it seems like he didn’t even want to come back to Manchester. He shared a new carousel of images, in which he and Mikey could be seen chatting over a glass of wine, enjoying a hike, and taking in a beautiful sunset, while also getting to enjoy some fancy meals, delicious treats and more sightseeing. Alongside the post, Ryan wrote: “Next time…one way ticket please. Loved Vancouver, truly one of the best cities I’ve experienced, with the pleasure of great company including the man, the myth, the legend, Mikey North.” He added: “”Big shout out and warmest thanks to @mymothersbloomers for all the laughs. And a massive thank you Vancouver for that good old famous Canadian hospitality I’d heard so much about…second to none x.” And fans were quick to respond. @rachellbriggs said: “Looks amazing, so jealous!” @kristaj67 commented: “We loved having you here, please come back!!” @blue_turtle_woman wrote: “Was lovely meeting you two! Ya’ll come back soon But @libbage55 shared: “No!
