Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is weeks away from his directorial debut, yet fans remain fascinated by one thing – his refusal to smile on camera. For years, fans have noticed Aryan Khan never cracks a smile in paparazzi photos. The young star’s reserved look has often sparked memes and online chatter. But according to the cast of his directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, the real Aryan is nothing like his serious public persona. While his serious look has become a talking point online, actor Raghav Juyal has now lifted the lid on why Aryan keeps his grin hidden.
“Aryan Khan Won’t Smile On Camera”
In a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Raghav revealed Aryan’s unusual habit. “He has a phobia of smiling in front of the camera. He won’t smile in front of the camera, usko bahot pasand hai attitude mein rehna. But, with us he makes faces as well. He has a very childlike energy in him.”
Raghav admitted it’s something he enjoys watching too. “Camera ke saamne uski aadat hai, jo mujhe bahot achcha lagta hai aur ladkiyon ko bhi.” The actor also shared his promise to Aryan. “Maine usko bola hai ke main ek din hasaunga zaroor camera ke aage. He said ‘no no bro don’t do that’. Toh jab bhi mujhse milta hai, main usko bolta hu hasuyunga main tujhe pakka.”
