Hollyoaks horror for Sienna and Ste as plot to murder killer Jez goes awry

Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) concocts a plan to rescue herself and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) from killer Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) in Hollyoaks next week and it will involve committing murder herself.

The much-loved character, as viewers know, has been taken prisoner aboard the Love Boat by her treacherous father, who wants nothing more than for her to descend to his villainous depths and become a killer.

The situation was complicated further last week when Ste stumbled upon an escaping Sienna and took her back to the boat, unaware of the imminent danger when Jez arrived.

Ste soon worked out that all was not as it seemed but amid his attempt to escape, Jez clipped him across the skull and tied him up below deck alongside Sienna.

Sienna pleaded with Jez not to hurt Ste and the killer agreed that he wouldn’t. However, in twisted scenes, he urged her to do so instead – or else!

Sienna was appalled at the notion and made it quite clear that she wouldn’t be resorting to murder anytime soon but Ste was unsure of what to think given that word around the village is that Sienna is a killer.

Jez has framed his daughter for all his crimes, with Dodger (Danny Mac) and Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) frustratingly taking his word for it.

At the minute, Sienna is feared dead but Dodger is still investigating the situation and, next week, he’s horrified to learn that his sister’s clothes have been put in the washing machine, thus destroying any evidence.

Jez blames Martha (Sherrie Hewson) for the incident but amid all the chaos Dodger uncovers the list Sienna made, naming all of Jez’s victims. Sadly, he puts two and two together and comes up with five, believing that it’s a list Sienna made of all the lives she’s claimed.

Jez is left grinning, gleeful to have yet again evaded suspicion.

Dodger shares the list with Cleo and Vicky (Anya Lawrence) overhears, devastated at the prospect of Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) being dead.

With Tommy Odenkirk (Brandon Fellows) on the list, Cleo makes it her mission to visit Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) in prison to find out if he’s guilty of the therapist’s murder after all.

Later, Cleo seeks comfort in Dodger as Jez watches on.

Back on the boat, Ste’s health begins to deteriorate as he runs out of meds. Jez teases Sienna over how close Dodger and Cleo are getting.

Enraged, Sienna tells Ste that she plans to kill Jez at nightfall.

Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson), meanwhile, is left reeling to discover the rumours of Robbie’s demise and thus asks Jez for help in tracking down Sienna in a bid to find out the truth. Jez takes him for a drink.

With Jez set to arrive back on the boat, Sienna gets set to strike – but their plan is unexpectedly derailed. The question is: how?

And where exactly does this leave Ste and Sienna?

Elsewhere in the village…

Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) tells Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) that she’s pregnant with Tony’s child. The former pub landlady also lashes out at John Paul (James Sutton) over him being unable to identify the voice in his flashback.

Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) tells Tony she’s still in love with him and the couple agree to start again. Marie Fielding (Rita Simons), meanwhile, looks for 3-bedroom houses.

Elsewhere, Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) arranges a meal for him and Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) but things take an unexpected turn when he comes face-to-face with old nemesis Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix).

Clare, meanwhile, encourages Grace Black (Tamara Wall) to hold a casino night in The Loft as Darren turns to gambling.
