What We KnowRobinson did not attend college at Utah Valley University. Instead, he was a student at Dixie Technical College’s electrical apprenticeship program. That college is located in St. George. Utah State University wrote in a statement that Robinson attended one semester of college there in 2021.Was Tyler Robinson Active on Discord?Robinson appeared to admit responsibility for the fatal shooting in an online chat with friends on Discord about two years before surrendering, The Washington Post reported. A message posted on Discord from an account linked to the suspect, Tyler Robinson, said, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this.”However, this is not a confession in the court of law.
