Eagles vs. Giants Odds, Player Props, Best Bets: PHI Laying 7 On TNF

Week 6 in the NFL starts off with another division rivalry matchup on Thursday Night Football.
This week, it’s the Eagles (4-1, 1-0 NFC East) and Giants (1-4, 0-2 NFC East) squaring off at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Both Philly and New York are coming off disappointing losses in Week 5.
The Eagles led the Broncos 17-3 entering the fourth quarter, but lost 21-17 after allowing Denver to score 18 unanswered points in the final 15 minutes.
Last Sunday, in QB Jaxson Dart’s second start for the Giants, they narrowly outgained New Orleans on the road but lost the turnover battle 5-0 in a 26-14 loss. The fact that the Giants are just a couple of plays away from being 2-0 with Dart under center is massive for a team that started 0-3, with 9 points or fewer in two of those games.

Latest Philadelphia Eagles Injury News
There are several big names for Philadelphia on the injury report, though a couple of them are expected to be in action.
RB Saquon Barkley will be in the starting lineup despite being listed on the injury report earlier this week. Obviously, his presence will be massive as Philly looks to make the Giants’ dangerous pass rush a non-factor.
All-Pro Eagles DT Jalen Carter is listed as questionable with a heel injury after participating on a limited basis in practice on Wednesday. Linebacker Nakobe Dean (questionable) is reportedly going to make his 2025 debut tonight after spending the first five weeks recovering from a torn patellar tendon.
Two players who are out for the Eagles are second-string tight end Grant Calcaterra and starting guard Landon Dickerson. The latter will be replaced by Brett Toth, who is set to make his third career start against a stout Giants D-line led by All-Pro DT Dexter Lawrence.

Star WR Malik Nabers’ season-ending injury a couple of weeks ago remains a huge issue for the Giants, who will also be without starting wide receiver Darius Slayton. With a rookie under center and Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt acting as its de facto top pass catchers, New York could have a hard time moving the ball through the air tonight.
The only other Giants starter on the injury report is tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, who is questionable (back).
Best Eagles vs. Giants Player Prop Bet
Saquon Barkley o18.5 rush attempts (-101 at DraftKings) — 1 unit
The absence of Dickerson, as well as Barkley’s struggles to get going so far this year, make me hesitant to back him to go over 86.5 rushing yards, especially at -110 or shorter. I would be surprised, however, if the Eagles didn’t heavily feature the former Giants star tonight — even if his first few carries don’t do a ton of damage.
The Giants’ D-line entered the season expected to dominate. So far this season, on pass-rushing downs, Brian Burns and Co. have indeed been a handful. But this team has consistently struggled to stop the run, even against opposing RBs and O-lines that are not nearly as effective as Philadelphia.
In Week 1, Washington RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt and QB Jayden Daniels combined for 150 yards on just 21 carries. Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (18 carries for 97 yards, 1 TD), Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (10 carries, 45 yards) and Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (12 carries, 128 yards, 1 TD) have all found room to run against the New York front seven.
So, don’t be surprised if Barkley, who had 176 yards on just 17 carries in his only matchup vs. his old team in 2024, gets a ton of work — and/or goes off — tonight.
Eagles vs. Giants Prediction, Best Bets
The Eagles are yet to win any games this year by more than 7 points. Ironically, their widest margin of victory came in their nailbiting Week 3 win over the Rams thanks to DT Jordan Davis’s walk-off heroics.
On the road, without a key offensive lineman in Dickerson, against a division rival, should we expect tonight to bring Philly’s first emphatic victory? I’m not sold, especially considering the Giants’ upset over the Chargers in their last home game back in Week 4.
If there’s one ATS play worth making tonight, it’s probably the Under. I am not convinced the Eagles are going to move the ball with ease against a good Giants pass rush, even though I do expect a big night from Barkley.
On the other side of the ball, even if Jalen Carter is limited or unavailable for Philadelphia, I like the Eagles’ chances of bottling up Jaxson Dart, especially with both Nabers and Slayton out of the picture.
Also worth mentioning: in two games between these teams last year — including a late-season clash in which Philly rested most of its starters — 64 points were scored ( in two gamesl!), with final scores of PHI 28, NYG 3 in Week 7 and PHI 20, NYG 13 in Week 18.
Best bet: Under 40.5 (-105 at DK, FD)
