Through the districts development authority K200,000 was used to build one of the staff houses and the other was funded by the National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) through the district.
Mr Maki said that when Paglum Adventist Secondary School got the highest rating during the Grade 12 National Examinations last year that pushed for more support into the education sector of the district.
The local MP said that he is looking more into investing in the human resource of the district especially pushing for more students in the Mul Baiyer Lumusa District to be educated.
Mr Maki also made the announcement that the Mul Baiyer Lumusa District Development Authority support to tertiary students tuition of K2, 000 will cut down to K1, 000 per student next year.

“This is a day of celebration and during the country’s 50th Anniversary celebration this is indeed a special gift given to the school staff.”
He also thanked the local community for always keeping the school and its staff and students safe.
