After a 16-year break, the Skins Game is officially back, and it’s bringing some Ryder Cup energy as golf fans will see four Ryder Cup players tee it up in groups of two on Black Friday.
Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele will team up to take on US Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley and Europe’s Tommy Fleetwood. The match will be broadcast live at 9 a.m. ET on Nov. 28 via Amazon Prime Video, kicking off a four-event sports series on the streaming platform.
Thomas, who went head-to-head with Fleetwood in the Sunday singles at the 2025 Ryder Cup, didn’t hold back when asked about the upcoming pairings.

Speaking to Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, he expressed, “It is a very great group … Keegan (Bradley) definitely has the typhoon when he’s in a comfortable and familiar setting like that, being with guys he knows and plays with.”
Then came the playful jab at Fleetwood, “Tommy is one of those guys where, even like playing him Sunday in singles (Ryder Cup), I wanted to just like him,” Thomas said, “but him and Finno (caddie Ian Finnis), it’s like, they are the best.
“And even if I didn’t like Finno, I wouldn’t say that because … he might decimate me with his caddie. I mean, he’s very scary,” Thomas joked.
The European player had a stellar Ryder Cup run this season, earning 4 points with a 4-1-0 record. Fleetwood’s only loss came during the Sunday singles, where Thomas beat him, scoring 1-up at Bethpage Black.
The two-time major winner didn’t stop there. He added, as posted on Instagram, “they’re such a good dude to where he’s kind of like more the baby to ‘kill you with kindness’ kind of thing and just kinda throw in the little subtle digs every once in and around.”

Thomas also gave a shoutout to his Skins Game teammate, Xander Schauffele, who led Team USA with 3 points at the Ryder Cup.
“(Schauffele) might be talking to you, he might talk with himself, he’ll talk if no one’s listening, but he’ll definitely probably bring the most volume of chatter and trash talking,” during an event like the Skins Game.
He ended saying, “It’s a great unique group in that sense, cause we’ll probably feed off each other well.”
The Black Friday match is expected to echo the vibe of TGL, the tech-driven league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, which prioritizes entertainment and fan engagement over traditional scoring pressure.
This year’s event is set to take place at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which is Palm Beach County’s first new private golf community in 20 years. The course opened in November 2023 and was co-designed by Jack Nicklaus, with Thomas himself consulting on the layout.
