Blessings and love are pouring in for parents-to-be Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. After months of speculation, the couple finally announced that they are expecting their first child in an Instagram post. Celebrities, including Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rhea Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar and many others, showered them with warm wishes.
“On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude,” Katrina and Vicky wrote in a joint post. They also shared a Polaroid photo, where Katrina is seen lovingly caressing her baby bump while Vicky gazes at her with affection. The couple ended their post with the sacred symbol ‘ॐ’ (Om).

Janhvi Kapoor, who couldn’t hold back her excitement, wrote in the comments section, “Congratulations, Congratulations, Congratulations.” Her triple dose of wishes captured the enthusiasm of fans across the country.
Katrina and Vicky’s close friend Neha Dhupia commented, “Guyssssssssssss…Screaming, crying all at once. Love you both.”
Ayushmann Khurrana too sent some love, writing, “Congratulations guys.” Sonam Kapoor, on the other hand, kept it short and sweet by dropping a trail of heart emojis. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan expressed just how deeply the news touched him, commenting: “My heart is full after hearing the news.”
Vicky’s brother, Sunny Kaushal, shared the post on his Instagram Stories, writing simply: “Guys,” followed by teary-eyed and heart emojis and honestly, his post sums up our reaction as well.
Maheep Kapoor also left a heartfelt “congratulations” in the comments section, whereas Rakul Preet Singh couldn’t contain her excitement and penned, “Omgggggg congratulations. So happy.”
Meanwhile, Rhea Kapoor and Zoya Akhtar also had touching reactions to the super amazing news. While the filmmaker added a bunch of emojis, Rhea, in a sweet message, wrote, “Congratulations, both so so happy for you.”
In the comments section, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Best news for the best people.” Not just that, she also reshared the soon-to-be parents’ post on her Instagram Stories and penned, “This is the best news. So happy for you, my favourite Kat and Vicky.”

Even Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha sent love to the couple. While Parineeti wrote, “Congratssss,” Sonakshi added, “So happy for you guys.”
Ever since the couple’s fairytale wedding in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, fans have been eagerly waiting for this chapter in Vicky and Katrina’s lives. Speculation about pregnancy had surfaced earlier this year, but the couple chose to remain silent until now.
Katrina Kaif And Vicky Kaushal’s Work Front
On the work front, Vicky was last seen in the epic historical action film Chhaava. Based on the life of Sambhaji, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, the film saw him playing the titular role alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
As for Katrina Kaif, she was last seen in the 2024 film Merry Christmas. The mystery thriller, directed by Sriram Raghavan, also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Ashwini Kalsekar.
