BSP cuts policy rate by 25 bps to 4.75%

The Monetary Board on Thursday trimmed the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) key policy rate by 25 basis points to 4.75 percent, citing a “benign inflation” outlook and “weakened” domestic economic growth.
The BSP also said the interest rates on the overnight deposit and lending facilities were adjusted to 4.25 percent and 5.25 percent, respectively.
