True meaning of home
Reuben the frog is happy living in his bog. But one day, his beloved bog disappears and he has to set off in search of a new home. He visits windswept seashores, shadowy forests inhabited by sneaky foxes, and even has a run-in with a hungry ogre, before he realises home isn’t a place you can find. It’s a place you make, with the help of friends.
Reuben’s Hunt for a Home is a picture book which is written in lyrical rhymes by the Tipperary-based mum-of-four Julie Kennedy Fogarty. It teaches young readers the importance of resilience, friendship, and the true meaning of home.
It’s currently for sale from €10.99 in independent bookstores and will soon be available in Tesco and Dunnes supermarkets nationwide.

Raising toddlers
Baby Elegance is one of the longest-established baby brands in Ireland. It all started when Dubliner Tim Costello decided to make a pair of booties for his new baby daughter Louise.
That was more than 40 years ago, and Louise now works for the family business. So does her brother Garvan. Their brand new sells more than 600 products, ranging from mattresses and bedding to nursery furniture.
The Little Hands Toddler Tower is one example. Its compact height means it can be conveniently stored under kitchen counters. Its handles allow adults to move it around easily and little ones to climb it safely.
Its sturdy base ensures that toddlers can lend a hand in the kitchen without their parents worrying they might topple over. It’s also easy to clean and is currently on sale at the discounted price of €59.99, reduced from €109.99.
