And this time, he had to honor Fraser-Pryce after she literally passed the baton to the younger generation of Jamaican athletes in her final race. Ohanian took to X and stated, “Told you we had another surprise on deck! Gotta honor the one and only.” So, what was the honor?
On social media, Athlos announced, “Icons don’t just run fast, they move generations. ATHLOS honors Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce this Friday at Icahn Stadium, celebrating a lifetime of speed, excellence and legacy.” They shared a poster that claimed the Jamaican legend would step into the Icahn Stadium on Friday as the guest of honor. In the Instagram post made by Athlos, Ohanian commented, “🙌 you know we had to honor the great SAFP.”
