Dolly Parton took to social media to set the record straight about her health status.
In a recent social media video, Parton addressed rumors about her well-being, saying, “I know lately, everybody thinks that I am sicker than I am, do I look sick to you? I’m working hard here,” said Parton.
She confirmed she has some health problems, stating that she didn’t take care of herself after her husband died.
“So I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care,” said Parton. “So anyway, when I got around to it, the doctor said, we need to take care of this.”
Parton informed her audience that she was having some treatments and wanted to remain close to Nashville and Vanderbilt. Parton also debunked an image showing her and Reba McEntire, claiming it was AI-generated.
I’m not ready to die yet, I don’t think God is through with me, and I ain’t done working,” said Parton. “So I love you for caring and keep praying for me.
