Sivakumar K.B., a 2010-batch IAS officer and Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Services, assumed additional responsibility as the Managing Director of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) on Wednesday.

The appointment follows the transfer of Ramachandran R., a 2012-batch IAS officer, who had been serving as BMTC’s Managing Director for nearly 21 months.
