Brooklyn Beckham locked in 'legal battle' as he's dealt yet another blow

Brooklyn Beckham has found himself wrapped up in yet another legal battle over his business Buster Hot Sauce Inc, and the name of his condiment, Cloud 23. It was reported earlier this year that the 26-year-old entrepreneur had been involved in a legal dispute with an alcohol brand related to his business venture . Brooklyn later encountered problems with his sauce and various brands at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. However, a major footwear brand has now been left disgruntled with Brooklyn’s latest business plans, drafting in lawyers. On Cloud, a company backed by tennis legend Roger Federer that produces shoe soles with holes in them, has objected to Brooklyn’s trademark as reported by the Mirror . The firm lodged an objection against Cloud23 for classifications including food , alcohol, sauces, live streaming and sports equipment. To fight their case, On Cloud enlisted the services of Bristows LLP. However, the issue was resolved with On Cloud deciding not to pursue their objection threat, and the trademark was subsequently registered. Brooklyn had previously faced off against Becks beers over his own burger brand (Beck’s Buns) according to The Sun. The problem was eventually resolved when Brooklyn’s brand agreed to remove the two classifications relating to alcoholic beverages. In addition, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars also took a shot when Brooklyn attempted to register a trademark for a shortened version of its brand C23. He also subsequently chose to strip away any classifications connected to alcohol. He unveiled Cloud 23 last year, declaring: “It’s been a passion project of mine for the last 2 and a half years, something I’ve literally put everything into. I’ve never worked so hard on anything in my life.” Brooklyn’s famous family turned up to the launch event, but things have soon turned sour. This year, he’s been absent from major family milestones, including his father’s 50th birthday, his dad receiving a knighthood and sibling birthdays. In a devastating turn, his relatives weren’t present when he renewed his vows to Nicola Peltz-Beckham this summer, allegedly without informing his own family members. The Beckhams have stayed silent on the rift despite it captivating public interest. However, Victoria made a mysterious remark about family disputes whilst discussing Liam and Noel Gallagher’s Oasis reconciliation after years of silence. “I just think their mum must be so happy,” she told The Sunday Times. “It must have been really tough on the mum, the boys not talking for all those years. And I just think as a mum, that must be… she must feel so happy to see her boys getting on.” Following Victoria’s remarks emerging, Brooklyn posted on his social media where he uploaded an affectionate photograph with Nicola alongside an adoring message. The pair struck a pose for a selfie, with Nicola blowing a kiss towards the camera. Brooklyn posted: “Date night with my girl @nicolaannepeltzbeckham [red love heart].” This week, the Beckham clan rallied around Victoria’s fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, though Brooklyn was notably missing. David and Victoria’s firstborn was nowhere to be seen as they were accompanied by sons Cruz, 20, Romeo, 22, and daughter Harper, 14. Victoria is also preparing for the launch of her own Netflix documentary this week. Join the Daily Record’s WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your messages.
