The new gaming monitors are offering excellent specifications for the masses, bringing an affordable dual-mode configuration as well as a budget QHD monitor with a high refresh rate.
AOC Expands its Monitor Lineup by Introducing a Dual Mode 31.5″ UHD/FHD Monitor and a QHD 320Hz Gaming Monitor With Up To 320Hz Refresh Rate
Popular monitor maker, AOC, has once again introduced two new affordable gaming monitors in its Gaming series, offering competitive specifications for affordable prices. AOC launches monitors more frequently than other monitor makers, particularly in the budget segment, delivering powerful features that don’t cost you an arm and a leg.
The AOC Gaming lineup has received two new additions: U32G4U and Q27G4SRU, both offering different resolutions but similar specifications, including the same Fast IPS panel that delivers a fast response time of 1ms GtG. The U32G4U delivers a dual mode configuration, offering UHD@160Hz and FHD@320Hz modes for those who want both immersive/detailed visuals and a competitive advantage in fast-paced games.
The monitor brings a 31.5″ display size, a wide color gamut for vibrant visuals, and HDR400 support for vivid image quality. It comes equipped with modern connectivity ports as well, such as Dual HDMI 2.1 ports and DP 1.4 ports, as well as a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Hub, which brings 4x USB ports for peripheral connectivity. That said, it also has G-Sync compatibility and FreeSync Premium support for a tear-free gaming experience.
On the other hand, the Q27G4SRU caters to those who want to stick to a single resolution. It offers a 27-inch display with 1440p resolution and can reach up to 320Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Other specifications and display properties are almost identical to the U32G4U, but AOC has also disclosed the color space coverages for this one, which include 93.7% DCI-P3 and 136.9% sRGB. I believe the dual-mode display also has a similar or identical color gamut, but the official website hasn’t yet confirmed it.
These monitors represent two clear paths for different gaming needs,
The Q27G4SRU gives competitive players the QHD clarity they want with a 320 Hz speed at a great price point. The U32G4U takes our Dual Frame concept to 32 inches, where the technology really excels – offering both the immersive UHD experience for single-player games and the competitive FHD performance when you need maximum speed.

The dual-mode AOC Gaming U32G4U is priced at 339 pounds, while the Q27G4SRU is priced at 249 pounds. Both monitors will be available for purchase starting next week.
