Would it be a great season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City if it didn’t have a chaotic start? The reality show wasted no time and premiered with most of the cast quarreling with one another. The series attempted to start smoothly with a girls’ camping trip, but it ended horribly when issues within the group were brought up.
As the trip continued into the second episode, it’s a wonder season 6 was even possible to film, considering most of the cast had issues with one another.
While some conflicts get resolved by the end of the season, other tensions pick up. Queen bee Lisa Barlow is at the center of most season 6 squabbles, but the rest of the cast is just as guilty.
Lisa Barlow Vs. Bronwyn Newport
Lisa Barlow introduced her friend Bronwyn Newport to the group in season 5. Off the cuff, Bronwyn became the breakout star of RHOSLC. She was transparent about the skeletons in her closet and lived an interesting life. However, things between the two had changed by the end of the season. By season 6, they were barely friends.
In the premiere episode of season 6, Bronwyn went for the jugular and brought up Lisa’s company’s many lawsuits, including financial issues. She took it a step further and implied that another man was paying for Lisa’s lavish lifestyle instead of her husband.
Lisa retaliated with rumors she heard about Bronwyn’s husband. The two eventually agreed to a truce, but as viewers know, that rarely remains. In fact, the demise of their friendship is one of the most shocking, considering Bronwyn wasn’t even on the series a full season before their falling out.
Whitney Rose Vs. Britani Bateman
In season 5 of RHOSLC, Britani Bateman joined the cast as a friend. However, her actions proved she was not a true companion when she was caught secretly filming arguments by Meredith Marks. Whitney Rose felt violated and took issue with Britani’s intentions in the group.
In season 6, the two are still on shaky ground. Britani took time on their camping trip to shame Whitney for her failed business ventures. Instead of fighting back, Whitney admitted to her business shortcomings and how devastating it was for her family. Now in a vulnerable state, Whitney’s trust in Britani is out the window.
Britani apologized to Whitney, but it’s unlikely these two will create a strong friendship. Whitney and a few of the other cast members have their guards up after they found out former Housewife, Monica Garcia, ran a popular troll account where she leaked their secrets to thousands of followers.
Finding out that Britani was secretly recording their conversations was a nail in the coffin for Whitney.
Lisa Barlow Vs. Angie Katsanevas
Lisa and Angie Katsanevas have been feuding since season 4 and can’t seem to bury the hatchet. From rumors of infidelity to mafia concerns, Lisa and Angie rarely have positive moments on RHOSLC.
The same song and dance continue in season 6. Angie jumped on the lawsuit bandwagon and openly talked about Lisa’s alleged long list of proceedings against her and her tequila company. Lisa will most likely never get over the fact that Angie related Lisa’s lawsuits to the criminal behavior of former Housewife Jen Shah.
The trailer for season 6 shows the women’s confrontations heating up, so it’s safe to say Lisa and Angie will never get along.
Amongst the group, Lisa’s war with Angie and Bronwyn is the focal point of season 6. Both women are on a war path to reveal Lisa’s shortcomings, while painting themselves in a better light.
Lisa Barlow Vs. Heather Gay
Lisa and Heather Gay’s past goes all the way back to their college days. In the early days of season 6, Lisa needs to stay in Heather’s good graces if she wants any allies. However, the two ultimately butt heads.
Heather defended Lisa against the others, but Heather took issue with Lisa for saying she was the only hardworking businesswoman and mother in the group. The two eventually come to blows because they’re seen bickering in the season 6 trailer.
Lisa admits she was hurt by Heather for remaining friends with those who were out to hurt her. Although their friendship isn’t dead and buried like Lisa and Angie’s, the two are allegedly still arguing past the sixth season. The change in their dynamic isn’t something Lisa saw coming, leaving her with little to no allies.
Angie Katsanevas Vs. Mary Cosby
Angie and Mary were unsuspected best friends on RHOSLC. The two started an unlikely friendship and supported one another in hardships. Season 5 saw some cracks in their foundation, but they made their way back to one another. Unfortunately, the same occurs in season 6.
Their feud is yet to be seen in the new season as of this article’s publication, but they go at each other in the trailer. Despite the argument, the two described their friendship as sisterly.
Mary Cosby has done a full transformation in season 6 of RHOSLC. She was once closed off and confrontational, but Angie got Mary to trust her. A close friend in the group changed Mary’s reception with the cast and viewers.
Unlike the other leading ladies, Mary took a step away from the series after season 2 to find herself spiritually after one too many tough encounters with her castmates. The mother of one slowly came back to the series as a friend in season 4 before fully rejoining as a main Housewife in season 5.
Heather Gay Vs. Bronwyn Newport
Heather and Bronwyn got off on the wrong foot and never quite got back in each other’s good graces. A large moment in their torrid friendship was in season 5 when Bronwyn invited everyone on a girls’ trip to Palm Springs, but didn’t invite Heather.
The two appear to want to make things work in their friendship in season 6, but keep misinterpreting each other. Both women made a small step in the right direction when they shared how difficult motherhood was and where they stood with their kids.
The biggest speed bump in their friendship is Lisa Barlow. Considering Heather is close with Lisa, and Bronwyn and Lisa are on the outs, it could be hard to remain friends.
Meredith Marks Vs. Britani Bateman
Meredith Marks has her aggressive moments with the cast, but her season 6 victim is Britani. The two can’t seem to find their footing after Britani was found secretly recording the women in a sprinter van. Meredith felt betrayed and no longer trusted Britani.
While filming season 6, it was rumored that things got heated between Meredith and Britani. Meredith claimed lies were being spread about her, and Britani is the obvious smoking gun. More on their feud will unfold in season 6.
Lisa Barlow Vs. Whitney Rose
Whitney and Lisa have had their good and bad moments as friends on RHOSLC. A negative turning point in their friendship was in season 5 when Whitney said on a podcast that Lisa was the true villain of the series. Lisa took issue with Whitney’s remark, and the two have been on uneven ground ever since.
Things got dirty when Lisa went after Whitney’s former jewelry line, claiming she didn’t have design integrity and was simply reselling premade designs.
