Collector reviews arrangements ahead of PM’s visit to Kurnool on October 16

District Collector A. Siri reviewed the arrangements on Wednesday ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Kurnool on October 16. She instructed the officials to speed up all works and ensure foolproof arrangements in coordination with all departments to make the visit a success.

The Collector was inspecting the parking, helipad, and public meeting venue arrangements at Ragamayuri Green Hills near Nannur toll gate. She inspected as many as 11 identified parking locations and directed the officials to expedite works related to additional constructions, barricading, and road connectivity to the venue.

Ms. Siri further inspected the arrangements related to green rooms, sanitation, and security measures. She underlined the need to install CCTV cameras at key points, including the helipad, parking areas, and public meeting ground, to ensure strict surveillance during the event.

At the Nannur village secretariat, the Collector reviewed medical preparedness with the Medical and Health department officials, instructing them to station two basic life support ambulances and set up medical camps at all parking zones. She further ordered the establishment of a 10-bed hospital for VIPs and a 20-bed hospital for the public at the main venue. Ms. Siri also discussed the arrangements with the Chief Minister’s programme coordinator M. Satyanarayana Raju.

Adoni Sub-Collector Maurya Bharadwaj, senior officials of the Roads and Buildings, Revenue, Panchayat Raj, and police departments were present.
