Hear from small business owners about what it takes to thrive at upcoming Bay Area Chamber breakfast

BAY CITY, MI – The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will highlight local entrepreneurship during its Eye Opener Breakfast on Friday, Oct. 10, with a panel of three Bay County business owners.
The breakfast event, scheduled from 7:15-9 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City–Riverfront, will showcase small business owners who have built connections in the community and who have brought unique brands to the area.
“We’re proud to celebrate the entrepreneurs who pour their heart and energy into our community every day,” Bay Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Magen Samyn said in a statement. “Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and this discussion will be a great opportunity to hear their stories, lessons, and passion for Bay County.”
Three panelists will participate in the program: Maria Otto, owner of Little Pastry Shop; Zak McClellan, co-owner of Prost! Wine Bar and Charcuterie; and Adam McCauley, co-owner of Sandlot Sports.
The business owners will share insights into growth, challenges and community impact, providing attendees with perspectives on what it takes to thrive as a small business in Bay County.
To show support for local enterprises, attendees are encouraged to wear T-shirts representing their favorite local small businesses during the event.
