Imagine being able to order for delivery or pick-up, the foods of legendary chefs such as Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Jonathan Waxman, and Marcus Samuelsson.
Now residents in and around the Milford area can fulfill such cravings with the opening of Wonder, a meal platform built to satisfy cravings for foods like Harlem fried chicken, Mediterranean, a famed Brooklyn pizzeria, Bobby Flay premium steak. Mexican, rustic California cuisine, Texas BBQ and more.
This is Wonder’s 69th location overall, and third location in Connecticut. The other two are in Stamford and Fairfield
“Wonder as a platform is a higher-end version of Uber, Door Dash,” said Jason Rusk, Wonder’s executive vice-president of restaurant operations. “We’re doing something no one has ever done before.”
He said the business is similar to an Amazon model, “Lots of choices, fast.”
At the newest Wonder, 1680 Boston Post Road, folks can get delivery, pick up or even dine in, as there are a few tables.
The kitchen, in partnership with the chefs, will produce iconic meals from around the country.
The ability to cook meals from 20 plus award-winning restaurants are under one roof and delivered fast, free and all in a single order, Rusk said.
In addition to producing the cuisine of famous chefs, Wonder sells meal kits, heat and eat products and offers local restaurant ordering
Wonder currently operates more than 60 locations across New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. They are adding locations fast, Rusk said.
