We are at a critical juncture in our democracy. The people we elect to office to serve our communities must act with compassion and integrity and find common ground and common-sense solutions to the real problems we face in the world today.
I can say with complete surety that Benjamin Speed is the right person at the right time to serve on the Bangor School Committee. For the past seven years, I have had the pleasure to call Ben my friend and colleague on the marketing and public relations team at Northern Light Health. His work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and compassion for humanity will serve him well in elected office. He has strong convictions but is open to hearing other viewpoints.
As an accredited public relations professional, he is an effective communicator. As a proud parent of a Bangor High School student, he is personally invested in the education of our children. As a dedicated faculty member at Husson University, he knows what it takes to inspire young minds to reach their full potential. As an election night poll volunteer and a volunteer on his church communications board, he is a civic-minded community member who holds service to others in high regard.
And with your vote, he could be the next member of the Bangor School Committee.
