The Chesterfield Conservation Commission continues its program on ecological connections and watershed health with a free walk exploring the California Brook Headwaters on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. at the Prouty Road Trailhead in Chesterfield.

Alex Metzger, stewardship director at the Monadnock Conservancy, will lead the walk and discuss how the land trust partners with private owners to conserve the land.
