First Statement from Delhi BMW Crash Victim: ‘Requested Her to Take Us to Nearby Hospital’

Delhi BMW Crash: The lone survivour of the Delhi BMW Crash has revealed shocking details of the accident, saying that she had requested the accused to take her and her husband to a nearby hospital for quick medical aid. However, the accused “deliberately” ferried them in a non-life support vehicle to a small hospital in GTB Nagar, which was 22 km away from the site of the incident. The accident happened on Sunday, 14 September 2025, near Dhaula Kuan, Delhi, when the deceased couple was returning home after visiting Bangla Sahib. “She was driving the car so fast that even her car overturned on the road, and then everything went dark before my eyes. This lady and a male driver put my husband and me into a van-type vehicle and were taking us somewhere. I kept repeatedly requesting that the lady please take both me and my husband to some nearby hospital so that we could quickly get first aid, because my husband was unconscious at that time and he needed immediate medical attention,” said Sandeep in her statement. Negligence in Hospital Despite her repeated requests, the lady did not take the deceased couple to the nearest hospital, but deliberately took them far away and admitted them to a small hospital. “Later, I came to know that the lady driving the BMW had taken us to a small hospital in GTB Nagar, where I too was kept on a stretcher outside for a long time. I requested that the lady take us to a nearby hospital several times, but she did not,” added Sandeep. Her son Navnoor also alleged that Sandeep was made to wait in hospital lobby in a critical condition. The impact of the accident was too severe that even the BMW overturned. The chilling visuals of the incident showed Navjot and Sandeep lying on the raod in a pool of blood. “I remember that her blue BMW’s number was 0008, which had overturned on the road. Much later, at the hospital in GTB Nagar, my son and acquaintances arrived, and from that hospital, I was later taken to Venkateshwar Hospital,” she added. According to police, Sandeep and her husband, Navjot Singh, an official at the Finance Ministry, were hit from behind by a BMW car. Navjot Singh died on the spot, while Sandeep suffered severe injuries. Several passersby stopped, and the accused lady, Gagandeep, asked a van driver to carry the victims in his vehicle to the GTB Nagar hospital. Accused to be Taken Into Custody Shortly The Delhi Police team has reached the Nulife Hospital and is questioning the accused. She will be taken into custody shortly. Connection of Accused With Hospital; Official Statement Released Senior doctor Shakuntala, who has been working in the hospital for 35 years, avoided answering on the connection between Gaganpreet and the hospital. She said that on September 14, at 2 o’clock, information about the accident came, and a man and his wife came, in which the man had died. The woman said that she would go to another hospital with first aid, after which the police was informed and they were allowed to go to another hospital.
