The Oura Ring 3 is selling out fast - here’s how to get it for $199 in today's Amazon Prime Day sales

For this year’s Prime Big Deal Days, the Oura Ring 3 is down to as low as $199 (from $263) at Amazon, but we don’t expect stocks to last long.
I’ve tested many a sleep gadget this year from the best sunrise alarm clocks to the best smart beds, sleep earbuds and smart eye masks. And, the one product I’m always raving about is my Oura Ring. Not only does it help me learn more about my sleep, but also holds me accountable when it comes to sticking to a consistent sleep schedule.
While the new Oura Ring 4 has “Smart Sensing” powered by research-grade sensors and an algorithm for more accurate data, I found the older Oura Ring 3 to just as great a job of tracking my sleep and guiding me towards better quality slumber for less $$$. Hence why I recommend taking advantage of its lower price while stocks last in Prime Big Deal Days sleep sales.
Oura Ring 3 vs Oura Ring 4
The Oura Ring 3 may not be the newest model on the market, but after testing it and comparing it to the newer, upgraded Oura Ring 4, I still think it’s worth snapping up if you’re shopping a reliable sleep tracking ring — especially now it’s at an all-time lowest price.
Besides Oura’s new “Smart Sensing” technology, a slightly improved battery life and more robust titanium design with the Ring 4, if we’re focussing on sleep tracking functionality, the differences between the experience with each ring aren’t hugely noticeable.
In my testing, I found the Oura Ring 3 gave sleep timing metrics that lined up with times I recorded in my own sleep diary. Plus sleep and readiness scores reflected how well rested I felt the following day.
What’s more, a 2024 study by sleep scientists in Boston compared the accuracy of the Oura Ring 3 against other commercial sleep trackers and polysomnography (PSG). The researchers examined eight nightly sleep summary characteristics and found that the Oura Ring 3 “was not significantly different from PSG for seven of the eight measures.”
