US President Donald Trump Monday suggested that US public companies should no longer have to report earnings quarterly, adding that can be done on a six-month schedule instead. In a post on Truth Social, Trump floated the idea of companies no longer providing earnings report on a quarterly basis and switching to semiannual instead.Trump said the idea is “subject to SEC approval” and would “save money, and allow managers to focus on properly running their companies.””This will save money, and allow managers to focus on properly running their companies.
