Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has locked a Dussehra 2025 release. On the first day of Navratri, the makers finally released the much-anticipated trailer. The film is a prequel to Kantara, the Kannada mythological thriller, which was released in 2022 and broke box office records. With 10 days left, the advance booking for Kantara Chapter 1 opened in the USA. As of now, 4104 tickets have been sold. With 10 days left for its release, the total collection is $94,224. Proud to unveil the Hindi Trailer of #KantaraChapter1, a film where folklore, faith & fury collide.” Hrithik Roshan launched the Hindi trailer today on social media. According to the official synopsis, “Rishab Shetty transforms into a fierce Naga Sadhu, a warrior-mystic destined to become the bridge between mortals and the divine. Ancient rituals, supernatural forces, and tribal struggles collide in a cinematic spectacle like no other — this isn’t just a prequel, it’s the origin of a myth.” Scheduled for a worldwide release on October 2, the film will release in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English. Rishab has directed and written Kantara Chapter 1. Joining him in the prequel are Gulshan Devaiah and Rukmini Vasanth.
