Triptii Dimri has wrapped up the shooting of her next action thriller, O Romeo, with Shahid Kapoor and is enjoying her free time with her family and friends. The actress often shares updates from her personal and professional lives with Instafam and now, she has surprised everyone as she introduced her new family member to the world.
Her family ‘got bigger’ with the entry of…, no, it is not her rumoured beau, Sam Merchant. She welcomed a pet, a dog named Lychee.
Meet Lychee, Triptii Dimri’s New Family Member
Taking to Instagram, the actress dropped a string of pictures and videos of her new pet dog. In the first snap, she is seen sitting inside her car with Lychee on her lap, while in the next one, the pooch takes a nap on Triptii’s lap as the diva adorably looks at her.
Another picture depicts Lychee on Triptii’s shoulder and looking straight into the camera and in the next one, the puppy sits comfortably in a soft pet bed.
Up next, the Laila Majnu actress also shared a video of Lychee and her pet cat staring at each other from behind a wooden fence, and in another clip, the dog is playing with a plush toy.
Moving ahead, in one video, Triptii’s two pet cats are seen staring at Lychee as the doggo stood behind the fence. Another clip depicts her househelp and the actress herself playing with the cute doggo. The last video, on the other hand, features her two cats hiding under a table as Lychee sat in front of them.
Sharing the post, she wrote in the caption, “Our family just got bigger, Welcome Home lychee.”

As soon as the actress dropped the post, the comment section was flooded with reactions from fans and celebs alike. Actress Patralekhaa commented, “Awwww.” Filmmaker Atul Mongia wrote, “So sweet!! Lychee and the cats getting along now?” An Instagram user shared, “Special moments of life, fun with dogs is just great.” Actor RajKummar Rao and Huma Qureshi also shared their reactions to the post.
Triptii Dimri’s Work Front
The actress will be next seen in O Romeo with Shahid Kapoor. Helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film also features Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar and Avinash Tiwary in the leads and will be hitting the big screens in February next year.
Besides this, she has an action thriller, Spirit, with South star Prabhas in her kitty. It marks Triptii’s second collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga after the grand success of Animal.
