‘Indians Not Allowed’: Jodhpur Cafe Denies Entry To IIT Students; Internet Triggered

A cafe in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur is going viral on social media, however, for all the wrong and rather ‘racist’ reasons. A disturbing clip was recently shared online, which showed a group of friends in a phone conversation with the cafe’s owner. Allegedly, the group- students of IIT Jodhpur- were denied entry in the cafe, citing that they were ‘Indians’. Yes, take your time to take THAT in. The owner, on the other hand, was heard confirming the same in the video, as he told the students that ‘only foreigners were allowed, not Indians’. The students repeatedly asked the same- expressing disbelief, but the owner simply dismissed the concern, stating how it was the cafe’s decision, which needed no intervention or explanation. As per the viral post, the restaurant-in-question was ‘Dylan’s Café’, whereas the owner went by the name ‘Bhakhar Khan’. The video went viral in an instant, drawing criticism. So far, the cafe has not responded to the matter. Times Now, on the other hand, could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “An incident at Dylan’s Café in Jodhpur has stirred controversy after IIT Jodhpur students alleged they were denied entry by the café’s owner, Bhakhar Khan. The students claim they were told, ‘Only foreigners allowed, not Indians,’ leading to accusations of discrimination. The incident has been widely discussed on social media platforms like Instagram and Reddit, with many expressing outrage over the alleged behavior. As of now, there has been no official statement from Bhakhar Khan or Dylan’s Café addressing the allegations. The incident continues to be a topic of debate among social media users and the local community,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘indian.now’. The post was shared 1 day ago and pulled many views from people. Internet’s reactions: ALSO READ: Here’s How Taking Google Maps Too Seriously Looks Like!
