Three teams have been selected for virtual review by NASA in the Space Apps Challenge 2025, following a two-day hackathon hosted by Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College, according to a release on Sunday.

The selected teams are Code Cloud, led by B. Harshitha from Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College of Engineering (A); Techno Titans, led by S. Shantala from East West Institute of Technology, Bengaluru; and Aerolith-X, led by A. Vishnu Vardhan from Avanti Institute of Engineering, Visakhapatnam.

A total of 81 teams registered for the event. Of these, 56 teams comprising over 300 students from 14 engineering colleges in and around Visakhapatnam, various districts of Andhra Pradesh, and cities such as Bengaluru and Bilaspur, as well as other States, took part.

The teams submitted their projects both in hard copy and through the official NASA Space Apps portal. Following an internal evaluation, the shortlisted teams will have their final presentations reviewed directly by NASA, said D. Bhujanga Rao of L. Bullayya College.
