Vittori Announces New Hybrid Hypercar In Partnership With Pininfarina

There’s a new high-end, low-production automaker on the scene with plans to produce a hybrid hypercar focused on quality, craftsmanship, aesthetics, and speed. Based in the USA, the company’s called Vittori, and its debut Turbio possesses some tantalizing planned specs: 1,100 horsepower from a combination V12 engine and hybrid system, active aerodynamics, extensive chassis tuning featuring magnetic ride control, and AI-powered 3D printing for reducing weight and maximizing strength.

“Our dream was to create a beautiful, high-speed vehicle that evoked emotion and a sense of connection,” founder and CEO Carlos Cruz detailed in the company’s official announcement. “We didn’t want to make another supercar—we wanted to build something that feels like flight, like sculpture, like power at your fingertips. We sought to build a reality where performance, beauty, control, and freedom could exist in one car—without compromise.”

At the moment, the Turbio is a running concept. But Vittori has partnered with legendary Italian design house and manufacturer Pininfarina to bring it to scale, having a hand in its development, manufacturing, and production. Then, its proprietary powertrain is developed by Italtecnica, which has been a somewhat understated and unsung hero in the high-tier performance industry.

I recently had the chance to go more in-depth about the Turbio with company personnel. When asked about the internal combustion engine’s specifications, Cruz offered some fascinating specs. “The heart of Vittori is a naturally aspirated 6.7-liter V12, developed with Italtecnica in Motor Valley,” he said. Motor Valley, meaning, the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy where the country’s top automotive brands are based. “In its base specification, it produces around 830 hp at 8,500 rpm, with a redline close to 9,000 rpm.”

When asked about why hybridization is factored in, he stated that “hybridization is being considered to satisfy homologation and emissions requirements. It is not the defining element of the car, but a compliance tool to ensure the V12 can be enjoyed within future regulations. More technical details will be confirmed as development progresses.”

When I inquired about the Turbio’s design inspiration, Giuseppe Bonollo, SVP Business Unit Mobility, Pininfarina, detailed that “rather than pointing to specific cars as direct sources of inspiration, we would say the true muse behind this project lies in the shared passion of Vittori and Pininfarina for Italian style itself: its elegance, the purity of its lines, and the way these elements naturally blend with the sportiness and aggressiveness of the concept. More broadly, it is rooted in the Pininfarina legacy and its constant pursuit of harmony between form and function. Each project, including this one, is conceived as a unique story in its own right.”

Between the Vittori Turbio’s gorgeous looks and fascinating specs, it’s sure to truly be something special. Another neat tidbit from the company’s announcement is music to any driving enthusiast’s ears, too: “Inside, Vittori also stands apart by putting the driver back in control. Instead of filling the cabin with touchscreens, physical controls and switches have been meticulously restored, placing every element with intent to bring back the pure thrill of mechanical engagement.”

The company’s website states that orders are open and that design and specs are subject to change. Official pricing has not yet been announced.
