Married at First Sight UK fans were left ‘grinning like fools’ over a marriage they said is ‘too darn cute’. The fan favourite E4 dating series returned for its tenth season on Sunday night (September 21) as a new group of strangers prepared to get married to someone they’ve never met before. It was a night of polar opposites on the programme, with the first of the two weddings featured seeing a bride admit her groom was ‘not her type’. Sarah, 31, was left stunned when her new husband Dean, also 31, performed a rap in honour of her just moments after meeting her on their big day. On top of this, Sarah told her dad that Dean ‘isn’t her type’ and she thinks that they’d be better suited as just friends. The other wedding featured in the episode saw 33-year-old marketing manager Keye getting married to Davide, a 33-year-old cabin crew worker from Portugal. Davide’s biggest problem was whether his mum would approve of him being on the show, but was delighted when she showed up for the wedding. London native Keye was looking to leave the past in the past, debating whether to tell Davide he’s been married in the past. Reading his vows, Davide said: “I hope you’re feeling as nervous and excited as I am. All fairytales are meant to end happily ever after. We have to find ours now. We never know what’s going to happen.” Keye replied with his vows: “For something great to happen we must close our eyes and jump… I can’t promise the wind speed will be perfect, but I won’t panic along the way… together we will always be okay. No doubt a connection will have been found.” Following their wedding reception, Keye decided to come clean about his past, telling Davide: “I married my first boyfriend. I was 19 when we met and he was 29 turning 30. We were together for nearly 7 years, married for the last year of it. “Our relationship became really bad, we brought out the worst in each other. He cheated on me. I left and filed for divorce, that was the end of that.” Thankfully, Davide was understanding of his situation, pointing out that he was engaged in the past and they will ‘both need reassurance’, but will ‘be fine’. Those watching the episode at home rushed to X, previously known as Twitter , to reveal why they’re backing the couple to make things work. @charlwalden said: “I’ve got high hopes for Keye and Davide, pleaseeeee work out #MAFSUK.” @JoeyDaley added: “#MAFSUK is back & I’m already in my feels Davide & Keye are just too darn cute @MAFSUK.” @BrookeAnnTyler wrote: “i LOVE davide and keye, god i hope they work out #MAFSUK.” @leeleeCThomas posted: “Davide and Keye is the reaction they all should not only be expecting, but they all deserve that kind of reaction #MAFSUK.” @biff_5689 commented: “Davide and Keye… why do I like them *together*?
