Harriet Westmoreland boasts a notable celebrity client list, featuring everyone from Adele to Rita Ora, and nearly every UK celebrity loves her manicure skills.
Her work encompasses fashion shoots, covers, campaigns, and a wide range of projects, and she has collaborated with notable clients such as Chanel and Rhode Beauty.
It feels like it has been a long time coming, but Harriet Westmoreland has launched a nail polish collection that you are going to want to have a piece of. These are gorgeous and chic nail colours.
Harriet Westmoreland
Harriet’s new launch includes gel colours in five shades, plus five matching shades in regular polish, all of which look natural and juicy and are suitable for all skin tones. Launching her brand, Westmoreland Cosmetics, was borne out of frustration with nude tones, she explained on her page.
She says, ‘For years, I struggled to find nude shades that worked across every skin tone. On clients with a complexion deeper than olive, most neutrals looked chalky, ashy or dull – and I wanted to change that. That’s why I chose to launch Westmoreland Cosmetics with the five shades of the Vanilla Gloss collection. Each is free from solid white or grey pigment, so instead of looking heavy, nails appear juicy, healthy, and glowing – for everybody.’
Nude Polishes
With her business partner, Olivia Corlish, Harriet Westmoreland has created both gel and regular polishes, allowing people to choose the one that suits their preference. However, the gel polishes are designed for four-week wear when applied correctly and cured properly. In both ranges, there is a top coat and a base coat to ensure the most durable manicure or pedicure.
The five coloured shades can be mixed to make new shades. She says, ‘What you see in the bottle isn’t what you’ll see on the nail, and that’s the beauty of it. Just like a foundation, you need to try it on. Because these aren’t just “five shades.” They’re your base, your edit of nudes. Wear them alone, layer them, mix them – together, they create over 150 variations, always with my signature glass finish.’ We look forward to seeing what comes next from Harriet Westmoreland and her new nail range.
