Adikavi Nannaya University vice-chancellor professor S. Prasanna Sree has made it mandatory for all Post-Graduation and Degree colleges affiliated to the university in the Godavari region to appoint Physical Education Directors (PEDs)
In a recent directive Prof. Prasanna Sree instructed all affiliated colleges to make the appoints of PEDs with immediate effect as sports are an integral part of the university’s academic policy.
“We will no longer tolerate the absence of PEDs in the colleges. Stringent action will be initiated against institutes failing to appoint PEDs and promoting sports on campus,” she said.
