Minnesota escaped with a 31–28 win over Rutgers at Huntington Bank Stadium last weekend, sealing the game with a 4-yard touchdown pass from Drake Lindsey to Javon Tracy in the final minutes. Lindsey finished with 324 passing yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Jalen Smith for 103 yards and a score. Despite gaining only 35 yards on the ground, the Gophers’ offense was efficient enough to outlast Rutgers, and their defense came up with timely stops, led by Koi Perich’s 11 tackles and an interception.
