NICOSIA — Promoting an active lifestyle, teamwork, and solidarity, Eurolife and the Dro.Me.A. Racing Club are inviting the public to lace up their running shoes and join the largest running event held in Athalassa Park.
The “Eurolife Run the Park” will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 a.m., with all proceeds supporting the Karaiskakio Foundation’s work with cancer patients.
Following the success of last year’s event, runners of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate in a morning of movement and community spirit in the capital’s largest green space. The event aims to inspire physical activity while contributing to a meaningful cause.
The race will start 200 meters from the southern entrance of Athalassa Park, near the Nicosia General Hospital roundabout. It includes 5K and 10K road races, an 800-meter children’s race for ages under 12, and a 5K corporate race open to company teams.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races, as well as the top three corporate teams. All participants will receive commemorative medals. Proceeds from the children’s and corporate races will be donated to the Karaiskakio Foundation.
Registration closes Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 9:00 p.m. and is available online at getyourtickets.eu/event/runthepark2025.
As organizers put it: “Life is a race—let’s run it together, with a smile.”
