Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) media committee chairman Sama Ram Mohan Reddy slammed Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA T. Harish Rao, accusing him of suffering from narcissistic personality disorder.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, he rejected all the allegations made by Mr. Harish Rao against the Revanth Reddy government related to health services.
A delegation of BRS leaders, including senior MLA and former Health Minister T. Harish Rao, inspected the works of the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) at LB Nagar on Saturday. It accused the Congress government of neglecting the health sector.
Responding to these allegations, Mr. Ram Mohan Reddy said that Mr. Harish Rao and BRS leaders are adept at telling lies convincingly. “Harish Rao and his uncle, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, are suffering from narcissism. They are also very scrupulous in implementing the Goebbels campaign,” he said, refuting Mr. Rao’s allegations. He claimed that the current government was working to make TIMS hospitals a success.
The TPCC leader highlighted the promises made by the BRS government, including building hospitals like NIMS in each district and four super speciality hospitals in Hyderabad. However, he alleged that these promises were not fulfilled, and the government mortgaged lands to banks and took out loans indiscriminately.
Mr. Ram Mohan Reddy stated that the Revanth Reddy government had ordered an inquiry into the irregularities in the increase in estimates and was working to expedite the construction of hospitals. He announced that the Sanathnagar TIMS would be made accessible to the public from December. The TPCC leader also defended the government’s Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme, saying it was working wonderfully and that the number of hospitals and procedures had been increased. He accused Mr. Harish Rao of being unable to see the progress made by the current government to ensure glory to Gandhi and Osmania Hospitals.
