The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur, has released the schedule for filling online examination forms for the high school (class 10) and higher secondary (class 12) board examinations for the academic session 2025–26. According to the official press release, exam forms can be submitted with the normal fee between October 1 and October 31, 2025. There is also an option to submit with a late fee from November 1 to November 16, 2025. For those who require additional time, a special late fee window will be available for them from November 17 through November 25, 2025. The Board has directed all school heads and principals to ensure that students submit their forms within the prescribed deadlines. Any delay beyond the specified dates could cause inconvenience to the students. The CGBSE Secretary stressed that submitting the forms on time is essential to secure students’ eligibility for the upcoming board examinations. In the recently concluded Chhattisgarh board exams 2025, the CGBSE Class 10 board exam had two toppers — Ishika Bala from Govt HS School in Gondahur, Kanker, and Naman Kumar Khuntia from Swami Atmanand Govt Utkrisht English Medium School in Jashpur. Both had secured 99.17 per cent marks. They were followed by Livyansh Devangan from Swami Atmanand Govt Utkrisht English Medium School in Simga, who ranked second with 99 per cent marks. In class 12, Akhil Sen from Govt HS School, Koda Gaon, Kanker, secured the first position in the state’s Class 12 board examination with 98.20 per cent marks. He was followed by Shruti Mangtani from Vijay English School, Manendragarh, who scored 97.40 per cent, and Vaishali Sahu from Swami Atmanand Govt Utkrisht English Medium School in Berla, Bemetara, with 97.20 per cent. In total, 19 candidates made it to the merit list. A year before that, in 2024, the CGBSE announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results on May 9. The overall pass percentage stood at 75.64 per cent for Class 10 and 87.04 per cent for Class 12. Compared to 2023, the Class 10 pass rate showed a slight rise from 75.05 per cent, while Class 12 recorded a notable jump from 79.96 per cent. The Class 12 exams were held from March 1 to March 23, and the Class 10 exams took place from March 2 to March 23, 2024.
