Millard North football defeats Lincoln East

Millard North kept its playoff hopes alive by taking Friday’s district tilt with No. 9 Lincoln East, 42-14, in front of a homecoming crowd at Buell Stadium.
Mustangs running back Isaiah Traylor gashed the Spartans (4-2) for three touchdowns.
His third, on a 61-yard screen with 7:04 to play, capped a 21-point fourth quarter from North (2-4), which blew open a game that was 13-7 at halftime.
East cut the lead to 21-14 late in the third quarter, and the Mustangs followed that with three touchdowns down the stretch.
