The Fellow Aiden Precision Coffee Maker is our top pick amongst the best coffee makers we’ve ever tested, thanks to its rich and well-rounded at-home brews and impressive smart features.

But the great drip coffee it brews up isn’t the only reason to love the Fellow Aiden, it’s also incredibly nice to look at.
First launching in 2024, the Matte Black model quickly became the pride and joy of our Homes Editor’s kitchen, with White as an alternative option.

But now, Fellow has decided to step out of monochrome to embrace a splash of color, releasing three new shades – Malted Chocolate, Woodland, and Sesame.

Malted Chocolate, apart from making me feel a bit hungry, is a muted brown matte shade that oozes luxury.
Sesame embraces the beige, warm color of a… sesame seed, I presume, bringing neutral tones to your kitchen.
And Woodland is an earthy dark green looks set to tie in nicely with wood features and lush houseplants that, if like me, you already have in your home is a great complimentary shade – and my favorite pick, if I had to choose.

Fellow creates beautifully-crafted and design-forward appliances, alongside a well coherent range of drinkware and accessories.
No strangers to color, Fellow hasn’t yet been so bold as to incorporate bolder shades into its coffee makers or grinders, but it has done with kettles like the Fellow Stagg EKG that we called “premium in every way.”
With the Stagg EKG kettle, you’ll find shades like Hazy Blue, Desert Rose and Smoke Green, but out of Fellow’s newest shades for the Aiden, only Sesame seems to have made an appearance before.

As a more trendy brand, paving the way for more stylish kitchenware, it’s leaning into a neutral theme that will work in any space.
I’ve recently moved home and my kitchen is giving light wood and lots of natural light. So, while Woodland is my favorite visually, if I reframe the question ‘Which one would I buy?’ It has to be Sesame.
Grinders still only come in Matte Black or White, so if I was looking to mix and match the colors, I think weighing up what goes best with your other Fellow products is a wise plan.

2025 has been about embracing color, especially in the kitchen. I was delighted to see the iconic Moccamaster release in a calming new color, Ocean, KitchenAid’s Color of the Year as a wonderful butter yellow, and the Ninja Creami embraced wildly bold colors for the summer.
But, there appears to be a shift happening towards neutral tones in the kitchen as opposed to the vibrancy of some colorful releases.
KitchenAid’s Porcelain White Collection, for example, is a wonderfully classic hue, easily slotting into any home.
And now, Fellow is says its new neutral tones are “helping you find joy in what you’re making while you’re making it.”
And aside from loving the Fellow Aiden for everything that it does, these stylish additions to the range make it even more desirable.
