Victoria Beckham launches 'flawless' foundation after struggling with 'bad acne'

Victoria Beckham Beauty recently dropped a new makeup product that’s ideal for those wanting a ‘flawless’ base. Adding to her extensive line of premium beauty buys, the former Spice Girl singer has collaborated with renowned skincare brand Augustinus Bader to release her first-ever foundation. The new Foundation Drops with TFC8 from Victoria Beckham Beauty come in 19 shades that cost £104 on the website. Described as a minimalist formula, this foundation promises to deliver breathable coverage that’s as light as a serum, for a natural-feel finish. Victoria can be seen promoting the buildable foundation in a video that was shared to her Instagram page last week. The 51-year-old fashion designer spoke about struggling with ‘bad acne’ as she applied her new beauty buy in front of the camera. READ MORE: While blending in the makeup product with her hands, Victoria said: “I like to keep my skin looking like skin and see it through the foundation, I like flawless skin. I’ve been very open about how I’ve struggled with my skin, so I’m careful I don’t use anything that will irritate it. “I’ve been so self-conscious with bad acne, so this formula is so good, and I have a lot of sun damage and it blurs that and filters that too.” If the £104 price tag of VB Beauty’s foundation is too steep, there are other skin-loving makeup formulas for less. We love that Glossier’s £34 Stretch Fluid Foundation is made up of 89% skincare ingredients. Available to buy on Space NK, the formula contains hydrating squalane and glycerin, promising to deliver a nourishing base. One reviewer said: “It’s a good coverage, not to heavy but enough to cover up blemishes and marks,” while another customer wrote: “This is a genuinely good foundation, and while it’s a bit pricey, the quality feels about right for the cost.” Elsewhere, Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Foundation (£39) features a blend of hyaluronic acid and “Rose Complex” to leave the complexion with a healthy, bright and youthful flow. With the Victoria Beckham Beauty foundation being a new drop, there aren’t any reviews for it yet on the website. There has been praise for the brand underneath Victoria’s recent video clip, with one person saying: “Such a fan of these products, they are luxe and worth every penny.” Victoria said in a description of her new makeup product: “We created The Foundation Drops for minimalists like me. The formula melts into my skin for a naturally flawless complexion and nourishes with Augustinus Bader’s TFC8 technology as I wear it. This is the first foundation that feels like nothing, yet truly does everything.”
