Busted star, James Bourne, has shared some sad news after he revealed he would have to pull out of performing on the McFly and Busted tour. The singer-songwriter was due to take to the stage with both bands tomorrow evening (September 16) but in a post today he explained this would no longer be possible. McFly and Busted’s ‘Busted vs McFly’ UK tour is set to kick off at the bp pulse LIVE right here in Birmingham tomorrow before moving across the country to various locations including Wembley, Cardiff and Sheffield. James wrote on social media: “The VS tour kicks off tomorrow night in Birmingham and as excited as l’ve been all year for this tour to begin, I’m really sorry to say that over the last 8 days it has become clear that I am not in good enough health to play these shows :-(. It’s still going to. be an amazing show and I will miss being there! See you all as soon as possible.” The tour of the two bands is set to draw thousands in for a huge night of entertainment, as the band goes head to head at different British areas. Last year, Harry Judd spoke to the Mirror , stating: “We’ve been talking about this for years, it’s only now it’s the right time so it’s come together. “The idea is that each band will perform, then we’ll come together to battle it out. I wanted to have the intro like in ET, with seven of us flying in on BMX bikes in the sky. That would be epic.”
