Rosewood Drive rental complex listed for $3.95 million

COLUMBIA — A three-building rental property near downtown with a total of 31 bedrooms has been listed for sale.
The complex known as The Graymont, located at 2218 Rosewood Drive, was placed on the market in early September with a list price of $3.95 million. Completed in 2025 and totaling 13,000 square feet, the complex features three buildings: one with six units each with three bedrooms and three baths, one with three units each with three bedrooms and three baths and the last a standalone unit with four bedrooms and three baths.
Projected rents for the 2026-27 academic year total $370,800, according to the listing by Meade Coleman of Capstone Realty Group. The apartments each feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and vinyl plank flooring, according to The Graymont website, along with a private balcony or patio area and a washer and dryer.
$2.1M for Chapin lakefront home
It features travertine floors in the foyer, a Jacuzzi tub in the primary suite bathroom and even a panic room. The six-bedroom home at 404 Jasmine Key Lane on the Chapin side of Lake Murray now also has a list price of $2.1 million.
Built in 2010, the home features 7,068 square feet and sits on a .54-acre lakefront lot, according to the listing by Kit Oswald of Coldwell Banker Realty. The travertine foyer opens into a great room with a stone fireplace, hardwood floors and soaring coffered ceilings. The kitchen has granite countertops, a gas cooktop, an extended bar and a wine cooler.
The primary suite includes a sitting area and a beverage bar, while the home’s lower level features an additional living area, full kitchen and fireplace, along with a workshop and an exercise room. The residence at 404 Jasmine Key Lane also includes an elevator and a dedicated office. The panic room can be converted into a wine cellar or a media room, the listing states.
Outside, there’s a grilling deck, an outdoor kitchen, a screened porch, a hot tub and an upper-level sun deck. The dock includes a boat lift and ramps for personal watercrafts.
Hudson buys land for new dealership
Jim Hudson Automotive Group recently purchased two parcels on Columbia Avenue in Chapin totaling 15.41 acres, and plans to construct a Ford dealership on the site that will employ approximately 75 people.
The property cost $4.525 million, according to the Columbia office of the commercial real estate firm Colliers South Carolina, which brokered the deal. Colliers brokerage associate Grayson Greiner represented Jim Hudson Automotive Group in the transaction.
The site is located off the Exit 91 interchange on Interstate 26, Colliers stated. The South Carolina Department of Transportation is finalizing upgrades to the interchange to increase capacity and ease traffic congestion. Jim Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1980, has 10 existing dealerships throughout South Carolina and Georgia.
The new Ford dealership is expected to open in the summer of 2027, according to Keith Hudson, the automotive group’s president.
NAI Columbia sells $1.6M industrial site
The sale of an industrial property for $1.6 million headlined notable transactions recorded in August by the commercial real estate firm NAI Columbia.
John Gregory, Bill Lamar and Tristan Lee of NAI Columbia sold the 19,600-square-foot industrial property at 121 N. Shorecrest Road in Columbia. In a separate transaction, Gregory, Lamar and Lee also sold 4.4 acres of land at the corner of Frost Avenue and Monticello Road in Columbia for $170,000.
Elsewhere, Tombo Milliken, Tom Milliken and Nelson Weston sold 1350 Blackberry Road, a 122.27-acre recreational property in Gadsden for $665,500. Dallas Wright, in collaboration with Gregory, sold 73 acres of land on Lowcountry Drive in Ridgeland for $365,000.
On the leasing front, Gregory, Lamar and Lee represented China Jushi USA in the expansion of a 267,488-square-foot industrial space at 1669 Longwood Road in the Pineview Trade Center. And Jeff Hein, Will DuPree and Hope Andrews leased 16,649 square feet of office space at 201 Executive Center Drive in the Synergy Business Park.
Cohn completes speculative flex facility
Cohn Construction recently announced that it has completed a new 20,060-square-foot flex industrial building off Interstate 20 in northeast Columbia.
