The Angels Theatre Company will open its 2025-26 season next week with a “witty and honest” play about a woman who upends a fictional Nebraska town after her plans for her future implode.
Humphrey native Alex Lubischer’s “Pivot” will premiere at the Wyuka Stables on Thursday. Performances continue Oct. 10-12 and 16-19 and start at 7 p.m., except on Sundays, which will have 2 p.m. matinees.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at https://angelstheatrecompany.ticketspice.com/pivot.
The play follows Kara, who dreams one day of having a big wedding reception, a father-daughter dance and a thriving farm. But when those plans blow up, Kara is set on upending the small Nebraska town of Milton to fight for the future that should have been hers.
