Rotary Club honours OESCAF for humanitarian service award

For its outstanding contribution to humanitarian service and public health advocacy in Nigeria, the Rotary Club of Gbagada has honoured the Okeoghene Eterigho Sickle Cell Awareness Foundation (OESCAF) with a recognition award.

The award was presented to Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester and Erezi Eterigho, founders of the foundation, in acknowledgment of their relentless efforts in creating awareness on sickle cell disorder and supporting individuals and families affected by the condition.

OESCAF, in recent years embarked on several free medical outreaches across Lagos and other parts of the country, offering healthcare, education, and relief materials to vulnerable communities.

Its interventions, the Club noted, have continued to bring hope to many battling the burden of sickle cell disorder.
