Boulder Fall Fest brings 3 days of autumn fun to Pearl Street

From Friday through Sunday, Fall Fest on Pearl Street will turn into an autumn block party with food vendors, live music, margaritas in plastic cups and enough kids’ activities to qualify as a cardio workout.
Eldora Mountain Resort is sponsoring the family zone, which translates to free bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses on the courthouse lawn.
The party also features Firefly Handmade Fall Market, which is a juried artisan market — kind of like a pop-up indie craft fair. Vendors are all local and regional makers who sell things like jewelry, home goods, ceramics, clothing, candles, skincare and other handcrafted items.
If you’re a parent, Fall Fest is one of those events where you can semi-sit back with a cider while your kids disappear into a bounce house or inflatable obstacle course for 45 minutes straight. If you’re not a parent, it’s still a great excuse to sip Avery beer in the street and remember why we all love Boulder in October. The weather forecast looks solid. Your friends will probably already be there. And if you end up buying a $58 handmade soy candle from Firefly, I’m not judging
Free; 5-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday; Pearl Street Mall; boulderdowntown.com/fall-fest.
