USC Star Compares Teammate To Strongest Man After Thicc Six

One of the best and most viral moments from this past week in college football came on Saturday September 13, 2025 when USC defensive lineman Jamaal Jarrett returned a tipped ball interception 70 yards for a touchdown.
It was also a key play for USC, as it helped them extend their lead to 30-10. Purdue outscored USC 7-6 for the rest of the contest, but didn’t have enough time to overcome the big deficit that Jarrett’s play created.
After the play ended, CBS Sports showed Jarrett on the TV broadcast, and Jarrett made sure to take his on camera opportunity to make some amusing faces and gestures toward the camera.
Nobody thought it was more hilarious than fellow Trojans defensive lineman Keeshawn Silver.
“Mark Henry be tripping lol,” Silver wrote in a repost on X, with the video of Jarrett celebrating attached.
Mark Henry is, of course, the famous WWE star and strongman. His billed height and weight was 6 feet 4 inches tall and 360 pounds. He was once known as the strongest man in the world…so a comparison to him is high praise for Jarrett.
Jarrett is almost identical in build, listed at 6’5’’ and 360 lbs.
A pretty accurate comparison by Silver. Though he should give his teammate some credit: I’m not sure Mark Henry could have returned a 70-yard touchdown in a Division 1 college football game.
USC’s Defensive Line Transformation
What Silver’s comments do get at, more seriously, is just how big and strong this USC defensive line has become this season.
Jarrett is the biggest (pun intended) example of this. But Kameryn Fountain, Jahkeem Stewart, Anthony Lucas, Devan Thompkins, Braylan Shelby, and Jide Abasiri are all listed at taller than 6’5’’ and heavier than 250 lbs.
Silver himself clocks in at 6’4’’, but makes up for it by weighing in at 330 lbs. And Floyd Boucard is also worth mentioning, given that he may be only 6’3’’ but he weighs 305 lbs.
USC sought to beef up this offseason to better compete with the size of Big Ten offensive lines, both via the transfer portal and new strength and conditioning coach Trumain Carroll.
That has paid dividends immediately. USC has been extremely successful at the line of scrimmage so far in 2025, with 14 sacks and 31 tackles for loss.
It appears, if Silver’s post is any indication, that they also have great team chemistry.
Size That Translates
Jarrett stands out even on a big USC offensive line for his size, but he’s not even close to the tallest or heaviest NFL player of all time.
The tallest player to appear in an NFL game is Richard Sligh at a whopping 7 feet, and the heaviest is Aaron Gibson at 410 pounds.
That’s not a challenge to Jarrett to bulk up. The world found out that there is a weight limit in the NFL after all when Tampa Bay Buccaneers undrafted defensive lineman Desmond Watson was placed on the non-football injury list until he lost some of his weight.
Watson, who weighed in at 464 pounds, was unable to get it done by the start of the season, and the Buccaneers cut him before he could play in even a preseason game.
Even if other players have a few pounds or a couple inches on Jarrett, he’s certainly big enough to hold his weight in the NFL.
Plus, he needs to stay slim to preserve that speed! How else is he going to run back more 70-yard pick sixes?!
USC fans, what was your favorite moment from the game on Saturday and why was it the Thicc Six?
